The thing I loved the most were the artist-led workshops where they show their artworks, techniques and in many cases this takes place in their own studios! Our money supports their continued work. The local guide made the whole trip seamless and comfortable while explaining the traditional, pointing out many interesting activities and introducing us to many local eateries. The tour cost for all this was incredibly reasonable. Art enthusiast
Stacey gently guided us through one rich and magnificent experience after another. The part that I loved the most, and that was not like any other art trip through India, was meeting
contemporary Indian artists. We went to their homes and workshops learnt what inspired them and were inspired ourselves. A brilliant adventure!!!' Professional artist
I hadn’t previously liked the idea of travelling on a tour but this Art Adventure is not the sort of holiday you could ever arrange for yourself – an enormous amount of work has gone into the planning. The result is rich and smooth - really well organised. Our travelling companions were good company and the pace was just right. We stayed in many beautiful hotels and wandered through wonderful markets, temples and streets at our leisure. I was able to spend quite a lot of time taking photos, while others sketched or talked with locals.
The workshops with local artists were really enjoyable – and I didn’t need to be an accomplished artist to get a lot from them. The whole thing was exhilarating, down to earth and affordable. I’d happily recommend these tours. Photographer, film maker
